Administrative division


Administrative division reforms has been completed that¡¯s helpful to the economy development of Shaoxing.
The total area of all cities in Shaoxing has been expanded from 447 square kilometers to 950.25 square kilometers. And the number of town has been reduced. The two factors has laid a solid foundation for the development of Shaoxing.
The number of population increased from 670227 to 977965; The scale of towns expanded ,but the number of towns decreased from 135 to 98. The number of rural communities increased from 6 to 20.
